Esther Group (Women of Essence) is a women’s group with the primary purpose to be a grassroots-driven organisation that works with young migrant, migrant women and women in Drogheda to prevent and support victims of domestic abuse, marginalisation, and economic hardship so that they have choice and opportunity to live their lives in dignity, with equal access to economic and social opportunities and freedom from every form of limitation.

We establish a safe space for genuine fellowship, burden sharing, opportunities to thrive, leadership training, and integration into the community.
Esther Group (Women of Essence) was founded by Pastor Mrs. Tosin Popoola on 3rd March 2007, with only 3 members has grown steadily over time by the grace of God.

Esther Group (Women of Essence) provides a strong outreach that addresses migrant women’s needs in particular and the needs of the community in general.
