About Esther Group

Who we are!
Esther Group (Women of Essence) is a women’s advocacy group with the primary purpose to be a grassroots-driven organisation that works with young migrant, migrant women and women in Drogheda to prevent and support victims of domestic abuse, marginalisation, and economic hardship so that they have choice and opportunity to live their lives in dignity, with equal access to economic and social opportunities and freedom from every form of limitation.

With a whole generation of young migrant, migrant women and women looking for meaning and fulfilment in life, Esther Group (Women of Essence) provides a strong outreach that addresses women ’s needs in particular and the needs of the community in general.
What we do?

What we do?

We impact young migrant women, migrant women and women in the following areas:

Esther Group (Women of Essence) supports young migrant women, migrant women, and women in general with word of encouragement, fellowshipping and testimonies to uplift one another, restore hope and give a fresh start as much as possible.

We advocate for anyone that is facing one challenge or the other irrespective of race, colour or background. We refer people to where they would be able to get support when it,s beyond our reach.

Esther Group (Women of Essence) from time to time organises workshops, seminars, skills acquisition and empowerment programmes for women and girls from all walks of life.

Through the Essence Award initiative,  Esther Group (Women of Essence) has been a catalyst for encouraging individuals, groups and organisations that are positively impacting their communities and society at large.
